Mustard‘s new album Perfect Ten is out today, and it’s only right that we highlight the title track on the album. The moving “Perfect 10” finds a reflective Nipsey Hussle spitting a verse, motivating through interludes and providing a powerful hook.
“Where your heart n***a, where your soul at, we got old school ways, we expose that,” Nipsey raps. “Ain’t no guarantees, but you know that, n***s die every day, can’t control that.” Mustard, along with producers 1500 or Nothin’ and Ryan Brown, gave Nipsey the room to shine and speak from the heart on this one.
