The release of Noname‘s Telefone project last July was proof that her loose tracks and features were no fluke. The soft-spoken emcee, now known as one of the best new names out of Chicago, recently stopped by NPR Music to take part in the great ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ series. Noname started things off with “Diddy Bop,” followed by a medley of “Reality Check,” “Casket Pretty” and “Bye Bye Baby,” then closed things out with “Yesterday” — all track appear on her excellent debut project.
