Open Mike Eagle has announced that his new album is titled Brick Body Kids Still Daydream, and will be released September 15th on Mello Music Group. To go with the news, the rapper is sharing a video for the first single “95 Radios” featuring Has-Lo. In it, Mike plays a news anchor covering Internet outage in Los Angeles for “Dark Comedy Prime News.”
Brick Body Kids Still Daydream is described as a “searingly political record for systolic political times” and “chronicles the life cycle of the Robert Taylor Homes, a housing project on the South side of Chicago that was demolished completely ten years ago.”
