Whenever Open Mike Eagle releases a project, it’s usually one of the best come out that year. That’s the case with his latest album, Brick Body Kids Still Daydream.
The Los Angeles-via-Chicago rapper is the latest artist to put together a ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ for NPR Music. For it, he performed “(How Could Anybody) Feel at Home” and “Daydreaming in the Projects” from his new album, along with “Very Much Money” from 2014’s Dark Comedy.
Along with his usual charm, Mike was joined by Jordan Katz on trumpet, keys and sampler, Josh Lopez on keys and sampler and Brandon Owens on bass.
