2pac’s track set to feature on A Very Special Christmas Vol. 2, an album set to help the Special Olympics, never made the cut because of his trouble with the law. He also recorded this interview with MTV (his first), and talked about some Christmas memories, but the interview never aired because of the same reason his track didn’t make the cut for the album.
Even though he only spoke on Christmas, he goes pretty deep about growing up as a childhood without it, then tried to argue about how people can have mansions with so many rooms —yet people are homeless. Or how people can throw away food, when someone is out there starving.
Pretty powerful, and a shame that this never aired.
