Fresh off the heels of just releasing his new album P3, PARTYNEXTDOOR sits down for a rare interview with Rolling Stone Magazine. The always shy 23-year-old from Canada spoke about the reason why he signed to Drake and 40’s OVO Sound imprint, citing he felt the pair knew how to handle his movement and exactly what he meant to his city – including creative freedom.
After touching on penning Rihanna’s international-hit, “Work,” he finally addressed the Kehlani controversy that went down earlier this year. He went to say, “I regret how it went down.
Big time I regret how it went down. I look into people’s eyes, and I know they think I’m a bad guy. There’s a lot of details that people don’t know. I just hope people understand that was a year for him. And I hope everyone has a successful year, and I hope that’s in the past.”
