If you’re out there enjoying PARTYNEXTDOOR‘s COLOURS 2 EP, you may notice one track that’s missing from there is the intro. The first track that kicks off the new effort is “Peace Of Mind,” but it was intended for this record to be how the EP started out. It’s only a minute long, but it features Majid Al Maskati (from Majid Jordan) singing a melody, while using snaps and anything in the room for the drum pattern. It sounds like tables, legs and notebooks were used to create the pattern.
This song isn’t changing the game or anything, but at least you can hear a bit of the creative process behind how PND works in the studio.
