If you need something to ride out to today, this is it. If you want to hear Detroit slick talk over some great production, this is it. Detroit’s own Payroll Giovanni has linked with man of the hour Cardo for a full length mixtape that the two have been teasing for some time now.
Cardo has been everywhere recently producing for the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Kanye & Schoolboy and even getting a cut on the already platinum Views. The difference Cardo and most producers though is that he’ll still do music with his homies for the culture. Not everyone is hip to Payroll but those who are know that he has bars for days and one of the smoothest flows imaginable. Hopefully this release gets him into even more ears than he’s already in.
Laced with 18 tracks all produced by Cardo himself, the mixtape is for sure a banger. The only features are those that come from Payroll’s Doughboyz Cashout crew which features Big Quis, HBK, Dre Armani and a lovely lady name Tamara Jewel makes quite a few appearances as well.
