Pell has announced that he’ll be dropping a new EP titled Girasoul on December 8th via Patrick Moxey’s newly relaunched label, Payday Records (Gang Starr, Group Home, Jeru the Damaja).
Today, the New Orleans rapper is sharing a video for the first single “Chirpin’,” which is all about escaping the distractions of the digital world. “When I actively engage on my phone, even for something as simple as checking my email, it could snowball into opening up ten apps that don’t help my productivity at all,” Pell says. “I’m not trying to be deep — sometimes it just gets annoying.”
