Pell and Louis The Child met over the summer just gone, and ended up making six tracks together in the space two days. Now, the rapper and producers are combining their names to create the duo Pellican Child and putting out one of the breezy new songs, which is titled “Turn Me Down.”

“In 1992 I came out the womb winning, 1999 I was black on both sides,” says Pell in the first line which references Mos Def’s album. “Still had my old teeth, first concert NSYNC,” as he builds on his childhood thoughts and recalls his early music memories.

Their new EP will be released in 2017.
