Phantogram – Someday

Mental health is a subject people throw around like cuss words nowadays, but it’s something real that deserves more awareness. Much like Logic did on “1-800-273-8255,” Phantogram are using their musical platform to bring light to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Proceeds for “Someday” will benefit the suicide foundation, as this is a subject all to real to Sarah Barthel of the group. During the making of Three, this production was crafted (can you hear the Al Green samples?) and due to the unfortunate death of Sarah’s sister during this period, the song was put on hold indefinitely. The band finally got back to working on it after the grief and mourning with the loss and want to use it to help others who might be in crisis.

The number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or you can message the Crisis Text Line by texting TALK to 741741.
