If you’re familiar with Toro Y Moi‘s music, you would know that he doesn’t just stick to that moniker. He’s been known as Les Sins, his real name is Chaz Bundick and now he’s come up with a new name: PLUM. So how does this differ from his other music? Well, for one, this is an ambient track that sounds more like the score for a space documentary than a song. Secondly, it was inspired by legendary composer Laraaji and is part of Leaving Records’ “Modern New Age” series.
