Preview A Record From Dr. Dre’s “Compton” Soundtrack

straight outta compton!

The hype for Dr. Dre music is at an all-time high, or at least as long as we can remember, but it doesn’t take much to get fans excited about a new album from the doctor. With his Compton soundtrack out this Friday (you will also be able to hear a preview of it on Beats 1 Radio tomorrow) and only one week before the movie Straight Outta Compton hits theaters, it’s only right the promo ramps up in crunch time.

In this latest video, the legendary DJ Quik, YG 400, young Boogie, Marcellus Wiley and Jeron Johnson talk about what it’s like coming from Compton and what they learned by growing up there. While the artists keep their ear more to the street, Marcellus and Jeron take a positive route and say it made them want to make it out and succeed against all odds.

Best of all, you will hear a preview of “Talking To My Diary” from the upcoming Dre album that sounds hard as fuck. We can’t wait for that shit to hit Apple Music already.
