The late Prince will be releasing another posthumous album titled Welcome 2 America on July 30. The full album was recorded back in 2010 but never put out, though the Prince Estate has now partnered with Sony’s Legacy Recordings to make it happen. Before we see the project on streaming services, a new single “Born 2 Die” has surfaced.
The record was influenced by Dr. Cornel West after he said Prince was “No Curtis Mayfield” and made in response to the statement.
