The Prince vaults are opening up and it’s happening on the one-year anniversary of his death. This Friday, April 21, an EP titled Deliverance will be released and it’ll be full of unreleased Purple One songs that were recorded between 2006 and 2008.
The six-track effort is being anchored by the title track, which is out now online.
One good listen and you can tell it has a gospel feel to it, something we didn’t hear much of from Prince during his career. Unfortunately, for our international fans, the track will only be available in the United States thanks to licensing laws.
