If you’ve forgotten already, Puff Daddy dropped the fantastic mixtape MMM on his birthday a few months back. Even though it did receive a generally warm response, for some odd reason, it was still kind of overshadowed and overlooked. It was star studded, over the top, draped in luxury and pretty much every thing we’ve come to expect from the leader of Bad Boy Records. Now we’ve been gifted with a visual for one of the standouts on the tape, “Auction.”
Diddy brought along the great Hype Williams to direct the video, which isn’t much of a surprise, given they have worked together on a ton of videos that include “Mo Money Mo Problems,” “Big Poppa,” and the MMM cut “Workin’.” Hype picks a white back drop for the video while Puff, King Los, Styles P and Lil’ Kim all wear black, making the visual as glossy as possible. If you wanna see Puffy, Diddy Bop, Milly Rock or whatever else look no further.
