Pusha T Addresses the Changes of Lyricism in Rap

‘King Push’ out this holiday?

With Pusha T still working on his King Push album, produced entirely by Kanye West, he took a break from the studio to help celebrate XXL Magazine’s 20th anniversary.

While boasting that he was one of the few artists with a classic rating under their system with Hell Hath No Fury, he touched on the change of lyricism in today’s rap music.

He went to break down that his only role in hip-hop was to be provide the realest and most authentic lyric-driven content in rap. Through his years of working with younger artists as President of G.O.O.D. Music, he went to explain how he appreciates other forms of hip-hop.
