Pusha T leaves GOOD Music, Kanye West in contract release, ahead of his upcoming It’s Not Dry Yet (INDY) album out next month. After launching his Heir Wave Music Group imprint before the start of the pandemic, some of us here felt that an eventual split with GOOD would take place.
King Push confirmed that Ye agreed to release him from his contract, thanking him for the move on social media. Normally, artists are never released from their contracts, especially one of caliber like Pusha T.
Considering he has extreme momentum before the release of his I.N.D.Y. album, we do commend Kanye for not holding anyone hostage. Big Sean also left GOOD late last year and was allowed to continue his career with the launch of his FF to Def imprint.
