Q-Tip is hot and it’s all because of the GRAMMY nominations. A Tribe Called Quest‘s We Got It from Here… Thank You 4 Your Service got snubbed from any nominations and The Abstract won’t go without a fight and recognition for the last Tribe album.
In some videos posted on Instagram, Tip goes at 9th Wonder, pretty much throws the middle fingers at the GRAMMY committee and he’s representing for his group.
“And y’all think it’s… ’cause no white man was nominated in no major categories? We were the most black cultured group out. That’s all we stood on. That’s what we represented.
This fucking album that we just put out, this last Tribe album. It stands with everybody else’s shit that’s up there. I don’t give a fuck. Respect to everybody that’s nominated and all that, but whatever, I’m speaking for mine.
I’m sick of y’all fucking Grammy niggas man. Y’all get us to get out there and perform this shit, and close this shit, and y’all don’t give us no fuckin nominations?”
