Quality Control & Migos Talk Label Hurdles, World Domination

Over the course of the past year or two, Migos have exploded and become a world phenomenon. They’re everywhere. For Complex’s new cover, Quality Control talk about some topics that we’ve never heard from them before.

In their roundtable conversation, Coach K and Pierre “Pee” Thomas speak on how the label started in the beginning. Apparently, Pee speaks on wanting to leave the game and then finding the trio of Offset, Quavo and Takeoff. Once he heard their music, he knew they were the next big thing out of Atlanta.

The crew also talks about the label hurdles they went through with 300 Entertainment, because they didn’t want them to release music and were holding them back from being great. As they put it, once they finalized those legal troubles, they leaked “Bad & Boujee” and the rest was history.

Now, they want to take over the world and as much as they’re on top of the world, they still look at themselves as the underdogs. For the future, they want to continue developing superstars and get into film.
