Guns by Quelle Chris is one of the hip-hop albums we’re looking forward to hearing most this year. Before it drops next Friday, the Detroit rapper is sharing an animated video for his new track, “Obamacare.” It features hidden imagery for viewers to break down themselves.
“The video for ‘Obamacare’ is an homage to many of my favorite PBS, Sesame Street shorts with a touch of Terry Gilliam,” Chris said. “It’s one of my favorite songs on the album, so I figured doing collage work in the style of my favorite era of animation was fitting. About 95% of the video was taken from the pages of archived magazines.”
Guns arrives March 29th on Mello Music Group.
