More recently, he is a regular on the television musical drama Star. The biological son of , the godson of , and the adopted son of , Quincy Brown is an actor and R&B artist. Born in New York City, Quincy moved around a lot as a child, including time spent in Georgia and California. The lack of geographic stability thwarted his aspiration to become a professional baseball player, but he was able to take to modeling and acting. An appearance on an episode of MTV’s My Super Sweet 16 wasn’t exactly a gig, though it provided him with some exposure.
