The legendary Rakim recently stopped by NPR Music to put on his very own ‘Tiny Disk Concert.’
For the performance, the NYC rapper brought along “Paid in Full,” “Know the Ledge” and his new song for season 2 of Marvel’s Luke Cage, “King’s Paradise.” Rakim had a backing band full of musicians on vocals, keys, bass, guitar, drums, violin, trumpet and saxophone, and most notably featured A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge, who are the composers for Luke Cage.
