Earlier today, Remy Ma turned herself into police custody and charged with third degree assault in connection to an alleged assault against Love & Hip Hop: New York‘s Brittney Taylor.
The incident happened at the “Pretty Lou Benefit Concert” at Irving Plaza, according to Taylor, as she claims that remy punched her in the face backstage.
Brittney sustained bruises and swelling in her eye, posting the injuries on Instagram and checking herself into Mount Sinai Hospital following the assault. She is planning to file a civil lawsuit as a result as well, asking the cops to preserve all of the evidence including footage from the surveillance tapes.
