Over the last three years, Brian ‘RetcH’ L. Onfroy Jr. has been building his solo career with various mixtapes and music visuals. However, his freedom and career has hit an unfortunate road block, as the New Jersey rapper was arrested for an alleged armed robbery a few weeks ago.

Earlier this week, he appeared in court, with hopes of receiving a chance of getting a fair bond; but Central Judicial Processing Judge, Richard Nieto, of Jersey City, issued a cash only $150,000 bail. Onfroy Jr. is currently being charged with using a 17-year-old to enter in a residence armed and commit a robbery of CDs at gunpoint, where allegedly a shot rang during the act.

Following a co-D and witnesses cooperating with authorities on his implication, this was enough evidence for them to believe the 23-year-old had any participation in this story.

During the hearing, RetcH asked Judge Nieto, “Is there any way I can get a bond? I just want a fair shot to fight this from the street.” The seventh borough rapper currently remains in custody and could face 10 to 20 years in prison if convicted. We’ll keep you updated when this story progresses.
