Rihanna made history today by making “Sledgehammer” the first ever music video to premiere in IMAX, which was first played at 9am this morning. Thankfully for the rest of us, the Floria Sigismondi-directed visual has made its way online. The single is taken from the Star Trek Beyond soundtrack, so it makes sense for RiRi to jump into sci-fi mode with a ton of visual effects.
Sia co-wrote the song with Rihanna (just like a certain “Diamonds“), with the movie set to hit theaters on July 2nd.
