Last night, singer-songwriter and producer Robin Thicke took the stage at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards for a public plea to his wife Paula Patton, in a world premiere performance for his new single “Get Her Back.” The two high school sweethearts recently separated back in February citing irreconcilable differences, as Thicke had no shame begging for his estranged other half back in front of a global audience.
The night for the 37-year-old talented artist was bitter sweet however, which he also won Top R&B song of the year for “Blurred Lines” and even dedicate his acceptance speech to her. Whether Thicke’s working on a follow-up project to his critically acclaimed Blurred Lines album remains to be seen, but for now listen to his latest single above out now on iTunes.
