Just when you thought Robin Thicke couldn’t get anymore desperate, the man that we grew to love following his stellar run last year, has announced that the follow-up to his sixth studio album Blurred Lines would simply be titled after his estranged wife.
While the thirst was oozing out of his pores during his 2014 Billboard Music Awards performance of the album’s lead single “Get Her Back,” we didn’t expect this to be his next move in the long-shot attempt to rekindling the love with his ex-wife. The album in which the “Blurred Lines” singer wrote and produced in its entirety by himself, is expected to be released July 1 on Star Trak / Interscope Records.

Thicke is set to perform at the 2014 BET Awards in Los Angeles, where we can be sure to hear some of the new material from the album. Desperate or not, it’s pretty evident how much Thicke loves Paula, but is he going about in the right way?
Looks like nobody helped him ‘get her back’ because his new single is not even registering in the Billboard Top 100 chart. Ouch.
