The power of hard work and SoundCloud has made Russ one of the hottest new artists out right now. His debut album There’s Really a Wolf dropped last Friday on Columbia Records and currently sits at number 41 on the overall iTunes chart.
To prove just how good he is away from the booth, he stopped by Hot 97 to freestyle for Funkmaster Flex. Russ rapped over Cam’ron’s “Down and Out” instrumental for around eight minutes and killed it.
