Los Angeles-based producer Samiyam dropped one of the best instrumental albums of the year with Animals Have Feelings on Stones Throw. Despite solely beats, there was a few great rappers thrown into the mix. One of those tracks is called “Mirror” featuring Earl Sweatshirt, which now has a video directed by the prolific RUFFMERCY. Young Earl appears in the clip only as an illustration through psychedelics in the animated clip.
Earl released the song after the sample couldn’t get cleared to make it on I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside. However, Samiyam managed to use it for his album.
