Shamir is a name you’ll be hearing a lot more of in in 2015. After tearing down SXSW last week, the XL Recordings artist is back with his new single “Call It Off,” the next piece of his forthcoming debut album. The energy is high, even if it’s somewhat of a break-up anthem, which carries on a similar sound to “On The Regular.” Ratchet is said to “transcend boundaries – genre, gender, age, and geography,” and will be released May 19th.
