Sheck Wes is back with a new anthem called “Sadio Mane (YNWA),” named after the soccer player and Liverpool’s anthem.
Sadio Mane is a popular figure in Senegal as captain of the national team. With the G.O.O.D. Music/Cactus Jack rapper’s parents also being from the country, Mane is likely a hero of his. The fact he plays for Liverpool has probably made Wes a fan too, which is why YNWA (“You’ll Never Walk Alone”) is referenced and the jersey is used in the artwork.
