If you’re not from California, you might not know much about what happens when Snoop Dogg‘s “Ain’t No Fun” comes on in the club. Maybe you’ve never seen an entire room of people —shortys included— singing every single word of the single, while drunk to the point of stumbling. But the anthem still reigns supreme on the West Coast.
For those familiar with the Snoop classic, the rough cassette demo version of the track has surfaced for our ears. There are some noticeable differences between this and the mastered album version, those of which include a solo Nate Dogg hook with no harmonies, slightly altered lyrics on Warren G‘s verse and no final hook following it.
In other words, this was the version the streets got first. Raw and uncut.
