We’ve been telling you about Sonny Digital and if it’s not apparent from the title of his new one, he’s showing and proving. Not only is “Woke You Up” (a freestyle taken from the title of his upcoming project) hard because he co-produced the beat with Bwheezy, but he sounds in the zone with the flow. Clocking in at only 1:27, we wish that haunting production ran longer for another verse. We can always spin it back, though.
Keep an eye out for that Sonny EP. It should have some slap on there.
