Canadian rapper SonReal kicked off his album campaign for 2016 with his hip-hopera single “SOHO” early last month. Ready to officially get the ball rolling for his upcoming album, the Vancouver emcee is back with the first official single from the effort with the song “Can I Get A Witness.”
The feel-good and upbeat single hears SonReal taking shots at all the people who want him to take it back to his original sound, but he shows them that he’s a man of many talents and his different styles of music are something he enjoys doing, so get used to it. He also doesn’t go without saying that even though he’s not the best, when the best are mentioned his name shouldn’t be left out of the discussion.
