We’re hoping that at this point, most of our readers are in the 40 million+ listeners on Spotify. It’s one of our go-to programs and even if you don’t pay a subscription every month, a free trial for your computer isn’t all that bad. You pretty much have access to most albums you can think of.
To wrap up the year, the streaming service has provided the top artists, groups and songs from their listeners, according to their data. Although we’re not in the bunch and don’t actually listen to most of these artists on Spotify, it’s surprising to see who did come up. Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran won Artist of the Year in their male/female category, Pharrell got Song of The Year and Coldplay was the most streamed group.
