Over the summer, Statik Selektah confirmed he inked a deal with JAY-Z’s Roc Nation imprint to ready his next major release. While still repping his Showoff and Duck Down Music team, the Boston producer is presumably in the home-stretch readying his upcoming album, 8.
We previously saw him with 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa for his “Man of the Hour” single; but now Mr. Selektah takes it to the streets this time. Above, he taps The Lox and Mtume, as they unite on the cut, “But You Don’t Hear Me Tho.” Look for details on his 8 album to emerge in the coming weeks.
