Steve Lacy is only 21, but he’s been impressing for years as a member of The Internet and working with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Solange and Tyler, The Creator to name a few. Today, the singer/producer has released his debut solo album titled Apollo XXI.
The 12-track project was entirely produced by himself, with just one feature coming from DAISY on “Like Me.” Aside from that, there’s only a couple writing credits courtesy of Jesse Boykins III and Amandla Stenberg, so it’s a real introduction to Lacy’s solo direction.
