Since January 2015, Marion ‘Suge’ Knight has been held behind bars in Los Angeles county jail, for murder and attempted murder chargers – after the infamous Straight Outta Compton set incident. Over the last two years, he’s seen his trial delayed numerous times; as well as some of his rights of phone usage and being able to see his immediate family taken.
However, the former music mogul has broken silence this week, through his attorney’s affidavit, to reveal some alarming information regarding the passing of Tupac Shakur. For many years, Mr. Knight has always refused to identify the real shooter of Makaveli, until now.
In the letter, he claims that his ex-wife Sharitha and former Death Row Records security chief, Reggie White Jr., were the culprits behind the assassination of 2pac. Surprisingly, he cites Shakur being an innocent bystander, as the real bullets in the 1996 shooting were intended for him.
His lawyer, Thaddeus Culpepper, also cites that Suge believes the same people were involved with his 2014 1 OAK shooting in Los Angeles, where his life was also threatened with 7 bullets.
Knight has blamed Dr. Dre paying a Sheriff’s deputy for the hit, as Dre’s lawyers have called the claims ridiculous. In a new documentary, that was just released last month, Tupac Assassination: Battle for Compton; Suge claims the real story and facts of Pac’s murder are provided by the filmmakers – which points blame at his former wife and security chief.
Surprisingly, filmmakers behind the project, say they’ve signed an affidavit from Knight’s attorney – confirming everything in their documentary is factual. Take a look at the video below and let us know in the comments what you think about Suge’s revelation behind bars.
