It’s still Ruff Ryders 4 life!
A few days ago, Swizz Beatz stopped by DJ Whoo Kid’s The Whoolywood Shuffle for a brief visit. During the conversation, he shared a first-time story of growing up above DJ Kool Herc, who worked with his father during the mid ‘80s. In the midst of teasing an upcoming return of DMX, he also touched on The Lox’s decision to sign with JAY Z’s Roc Nation imprint.
While all parties involved have a deep respect for one another, Swizz went to say LOX are still Ruff Ryders members and doesn’t want to see them throwing up the Roc-a-Fella sign.
Although he didn’t appear on D-Block’s Filthy America…It’s Beautiful album over the holiday, he’s set to have contributions to their next project, that will also feature Jigga and more.
