SZA returned to her high school in Maplewood, New Jersey yesterday after being voted into the school’s hall of fame.
The singer visited Columbia High School for the first time since graduating in 2008, where she performed and gave a motivational speech. SZA gifted students with gems like “you are never too young to trust yourself” and “design your own world right now,” and revealed that she never went to prom because she was unpopular and didn’t have a date.
