We don’t usually see SZA doing interviews but she appeared in a new episode with Kerwin Frost recently and she had a lot to say about what she’s got on the way.
According to the TDE princess, the follow-up to CTRL is dropping “soon as fuck” and going to feature the likes of Justin Timberlake, Post Malone, Jack Antonoff and BROCKHAMPTON. She also said it was surreal to be in the studio with JT, but the two had a connection musically (a “frequency,” she said) and they understood each other from the rip.
SZA also spoke on her mentality before her last album, life before being famous (working at a strip club in New Jersey, Sephora), putting herself out there and being confident in her music and a whole lot more.
