T-Pain Says Kanye West Stole His Lyrics After Saying It Was A Corny Line

T-Pain has been live streaming on Twitch and during one of his streams, he revealed some funny shit. According to Teddy, Kanye West stole one of his “corny lines.”

From what he told his viewers, Yeezy told Pain that his line was corny, but then used it himself.

This was around 2010-2011 when Kanye was working on Watch the Throne and the two were in the studio together. Apparently, T-Pain was recording his mixtape prEVOLVEr and played some songs from it to get feedback. He was proud of his project, and wanted to see what ‘Ye though.

The line in question was on T-Pain’s “Danger,” where he says “I got beef like two burgers / You ni**as win slow / And I’m smarter than Steve Urkel.”

After he played it, West allegedly said “Don’t ever say anything ever like that.”

Fast forward to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, on the song “Dark Fantasy,” Yeezy had a line that said “Fresh air, rollin’ down the window / Too many Urkels on your team, that’s why your wins low.”

As he tells it, T-Pain still harbors resentment over that incident because he questions Kanye’s motives and the point of him stealing bars.

You can listen to the story above and hear what Pain had to say about it.
