A new Talib Kweli solo album is on the way and it is anchored by the first single titled “Heads Up Eyes Open,” which he got from an old friend at Rawkus Records named Headqcouterz. The video doesn’t touch on his life, but rather the struggle of a father having a 9-5 job and seeing his son turn to a life of crime. Obviously, the street life sees more dangers, but also can be lucrative when making money.
