Terrace Martin Presents The Pollyseeds – Funny How Time Flies (feat. Robert Glasper)

In just over a month, Terrace Martin‘s new jazz group The Pollyseeds will release their debut album Sounds of Crenshaw, Vol. 1. We’ve already heard the first two tracks “Intentions” and “Up & Away,” but today he’s sharing another new song titled “Funny How Time Flies.” The song, which is a cover of Janet Jackson’s 1987 single of the same name, features Robert Glasper and was premiered by Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 show.

Speaking on the first time he heard A Tribe Called Quest’s “Check the Rhime”: “I keep that feeling when I do my music so hopefully there’s another youngster out there that can have that feeling when they feel my music.”

Sounds of Crenshaw, Vol. 1 drops July 14th.
