Almost two months after the release of their long-awaited second album Wildflower, Aussie group The Avalanches are back with a new video for “Subways.” The song, which samples the Bee Gees, Patrick Simmons and Chandra, gets a colorful animated visual from French animators Mrzyk & Moriceau. The whole thing is a trippy take on the subway system, where various cartoon characters explore the psychedelic thrills of life underground.
If there’s one lesson to be learnt, it’s not to creep on women while waiting for your train. You might just get pushed onto the track.
