There’s a ton of pressure for The Avalanches to deliver with their new album Wildflower, their first release in 16 years following the iconic Since I Left You. A couple of weeks back, their first single “Frankie Sinatra” — featuring Danny Brown and MF Doom — was met with mixed reviews. The second taste of their new album arrives in the form of “Colours,” a much more mellow track from the Australian group, featuring vocals from Mercury Rev’s Jonathan Donahue.
Wildflower drops July 8th, with guest spots from Toro y Moi, Biz Markie, Father John Misty and others.
