Music Insiders are Starting to Believe the Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake 2020 Battle

Last holiday, we broke the story that Drake was allegedly waiting until his tier-1 rap peers dropped projects first in 2020 before he started his roll-out.

Without naming Kendrick Lamar or J. Cole, the Joe Budden Podcast is now of the belief that there’s competitive animosity between the members of OVO and TDE.

In our opinion, J. Cole should never be in this conversation of a possible battle, because he’s virtually the only rapper that doesn’t beef in the sport (and everyone likes him).

So, the battle brewing between K. Dot and The Boy’s next album, has been behind-the-scenes chatter for the last year and some change.

However, Buddens is just the first person, outside of us, to go public with mentioning it on a platform.
