It’s hard to believe, but today marks the 10th anniversary of The-Dream‘s debut album, Love Hate. It feels like yesterday “Shawty Is Da Shit” was the jam.
To celebrate, the singer is sharing a smooth new track titled “It’s Yo Birthday.” Rather than talking about the milestone itself, he’s singing to a lover on her birthday: “It’s yo birthday, it’s yo birthday, we gon’ start at 8, you bett’ not be late, and we gon celebrate, I get the first taste,” he sings on the record.
