The Game Confirms Start of ‘Westside Story’ with Kendrick Lamar Collaboration

The good kid is set to link back with his CBP comrade of LA

After releasing three albums within last year’s calendar year, The Game closed out 2016 with announcing his Westside Story LP. He cited how the project would likely be his last solo effort, and is looking to stick by that claim. To show fans he was officially working on the album, Hurricane confirmed he tapped long-time collaborator, Kendrick Lamar, to help craft the effort’s first track.

In the past, the two have exchanged bars dating back to 2011 on The City,” See No Evil in 2012 and most recently in 2015 for the popular street cut, On Me.” This comes just weeks after Los Angeles Confidential gave high appraisal to Kung Fu Kenny earlier this month, after being motivated by his DAMN album. It’s unclear when Chuck Taylor’s final project will arrive; but we’re assuming K. Dot is just the beginning of elite names he plans to call in for his final scene.
